Do you want an alternative to Cindy's often too sweet and too caloric ice creams? We offer you a recipe for "Nice Cream" which is a  healthy, no added sugar and vegan alternative to traditional ice cream . It looks like ice cream but isn't, hence the name: n-ice cream!

A nice cream consists of frozen bananas which will bring the creamy texture to the dessert, then other frozen fruits (red fruits, mangoes, peaches, etc.) and a little vegetable milk. What differentiates it from a classic ice cream is the absence of dairy products and added sugar, which makes it an ideal dessert for vegans or people who avoid consuming dairy products. 

So if you haven't tried the Nice Cream recipe yet, we advise you to do so, the resemblance to the usual ice cream is really disturbing!

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 very ripe bananas (previously cut into slices and frozen)
  • 100 grams of frozen berries
  • A little almond milk (depending on the desired consistency)

The riper the bananas, the sweeter the nice cream will be. 

Steps :

  • Put the frozen banana pieces at least 3 hours before making the recipe.
  • Place the frozen bananas in a blender and start blending.
  • Add the red fruits and mix again.
  • Finally, add the almond milk and mix until the preparation is homogeneous.
  • Enjoy immediately or put in the freezer for later.
  • Add topping: fresh fruit, chocolate chips, crushed dried fruit. (optional)

Depending on the amount of almond milk you add, you will have more of a sorbet or ice cream texture.
