Almond okara is simply the almond pulp that is left when you make almond milk yourself. It is rich in proteins, fibers, and essential nutrients, making it the perfect ingredient for vegan recipes. We will show you how to transform this ingredient into delicious cookies while reducing food waste.
The okara will add a soft texture to the recipe and moisture to baked goods. It can replace some or all of the milk in a recipe, especially providing nutritious elements without the need for animal products like eggs.
Ingredients for the Recipe:
- 100 grams of almond okara
- 100 grams of flour
- 60 grams of coconut sugar
