Essential oils against minor holiday accidents
It's almost the holidays, your stay is perfectly organized, you have the right number of socks and you can't wait to put on your brand new swimsuit.
While you are going to the sea, to the mountains or abroad, if you have a little space left, why not take with you some essential oils in addition to your first aid kit?
From sunburn to minor abrasions to bites, essential oils are your best allies for relieving most of the little ailments of natural vacations.

The summer kit
Here, in our opinion, is what you need to put together a small natural kit that will cope with many situations:
Disinfect a wound : We all know that when our little monsters start to walk and run, they also start to fall. Disinfecting quickly is the best way for the wound to heal quickly and to avoid an infection that will tarnish your child's vacation.
1 drop of True Lavender or Tea Tree HE (from 3 years old).
Act on an insect bite or bite : Mosquitoes bite! Especially if you are on holiday in the sun, then to avoid spending the night scratching and turning in all directions because it is hot in the tent, it is better to do it quickly. :)
1 drop of true lavender HE (from 3 years old) and green clay poultice if superinfection
Burn and sunburn : Whether at the beach or in the mountains, the sun will be there and even well hidden behind the clouds, it remains dangerous. So to avoid returning to "crayfish" mode with the traces of the jersey and the marcel as a bonus: we protect ourselves. If, despite this, you have started to take on a slightly pink tint, there is no need to blame this guided tour which seemed far too long to you: we apply this very simple recipe.
Green clay poultice
Travel sickness : Finally it was perhaps not the best idea in the world to do the 6 hour journey in one go. Heat combined with motion sickness do not mix well. To avoid getting sick, we look at the road, we open the window slightly to get some air, we stay calm and to relieve your ailments, there too there is an essential oil.
1 drop of HE of Yellow Lemon on a neutral support or directly on the tongue
Headache : Singing the latest summer hits with the family was very nice, but with this heat the tendency to migraine can quickly happen, especially if you are sensitive to it. And when it comes to migraine, it's better to do it quickly.
1 drop of Peppermint HE in massage on the temples (only for adults and older children).
Clay poultice : put the clay in a glass or wooden bowl (not metal) then add a little water to form a paste (mix with a wooden or plastic spoon). Leave for an hour then apply a thick layer to the skin. Add a damp cloth on top and leave for an hour. Finally, rinse.
⚠️ Do not use if you have a pacemaker or an IUD.
The indispensable

Remember to stay well hydrated throughout the day: take a water bottle for each member of the family during your walks. And we do not forget the small snack or something to nibble.
Protect yourself from the sun : We put on our best hat, we don't expose ourselves too much and above all we apply sunscreen regularly (every 2 hours).
Embark your solid hygiene care. Less packaging, more natural but for the practical side: they take up much less space in your suitcase and on top of that: they don't leak!
