Now that we have resumed the rhythm of Benoit back to school, we will be able to tackle the recipes of the occasion. What could be better than filling your children's lunchbox with your own homemade snacks. This week, we show you how to make homemade cookies quickly and easily. For that, we're going to use our KRUSH granola! with dark chocolate and hazelnuts.
The oat flakes contained in our KRUSH granola! will allow you to obtain super soft homemade cookies. And as we are greedy, we will add some dark chocolate chips to obtain beautiful and generous chocolate chips.
Come on Benoit, like every week, we put on our most beautiful apron (you can take another one if it's in the wash, it works too) and we follow Stéphanie for this recipe for homemade cookies with dark chocolate and hazelnut granola.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 150 grams of flour
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 egg
- 40 grams of coconut oil
- 50 grams of coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 40 grams of Krush Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Granola
- 100 grams of dark chocolate
Material :
- 2 salad bowls
- Silicone baking mat (or baking paper)
- Whip
Time :
- Preparation: 1h15
- Cooking: 10min
Steps
- Break the chocolate into small pieces.
- In the first bowl, mix the flour, salt and yeast then set aside.
- In the second bowl, mix the oil and the coconut sugar. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the egg and the granola.
- Add the dry mix from the first bowl.
- Mix until you obtain a moist and slightly sticky dough then incorporate the small pieces of chocolate.
- Rest the raw cookie dough thus obtained for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- 10 minutes before the end of the resting time, preheat the oven to 180°.
- Make small balls and place on the plate, slightly crush the balls.
- Cook for 10 minutes, watching the cooking.
- Coming out of the oven, the cookies are very soft, they harden slightly as they cool.
To form the homemade cookies: It's up to you, either you crush them a little more to obtain large cookies which will tend to be more crunchy and golden. Either you crush them a little less to keep all the softness provided by the oatmeal.
Cooking time: The same goes for cooking time. For cookies, there are two schools: the "crunchy" team and the "cook just enough" team. So remember to watch them carefully during cooking in order to obtain the desired texture.
