For the occasion, Stéphanie has prepared a complete menu for us: from aperitif to dessert to spend an excellent Halloween evening with the family.

Appetizer: Sweet potato chips

To start the evening off right, we offer you a recipe for homemade vegetable crisps to make in the oven. We started with sweet potatoes, but you can, of course, make chips with lots of vegetables such as carrots, red beets or even parsnips. This will be the ideal aperitif time to choose your film for tonight!

If you have a dehydrator, you can also easily make your vegetable crisps without oil. The dehydration time depends a lot on the vegetables, but here are a few as an indication: Beets, parsnips, sweet potatoes will require about ten hours while carrots, zucchini, turnips will need about fifteen hours.

  • Heat the remaining olive oil in the pan.

  • Remove the chips with the skimmer and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

Steps :

  • Cover a baking sheet with the baking mat and spread the pizza.
  • Peel and cut the onion, put it in a bowl, add a drizzle of oil and basil. Microwave for 30 seconds to confit them.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Dessert: Ghost meringues

Anti-waste tips : With the remaining egg yolks, why not make a homemade mayonnaise.
