Washable and Scrubbing Sponge

With its small size of 12 x 8 cm, this eco-friendly reusable washable sponge is the true superhero of the sink! With its soft side and scrubbing side, it's the ideal eco-friendly alternative to the classic sponge!

With its abrasive polyester side for scrubbing (without scratching or marking) and its soft terry cloth side for absorbing, this washable dish sponge is very effective. Additionally, thanks to its small loop, you can hang it up for easy drying. This way, bacteria won't have time to develop.

It is reusable for about 1 year (52 machine washes) with a machine wash once a week in the dishwasher or washing machine at 60°C.

How to Use Your Washable Sponge?

1. Moisten your washable sponge (and your solid dish soap) with water.
2. Rub your sponge against the dish soap or use your liquid dish soap if you prefer.
3. Do your dishes as usual.
4. Once you're done with your dishes, hang your sponge by its loop for quick and efficient drying.

It can also be used for cleaning throughout the house.

For truly eco-friendly dishwashing, prefer a washing bowl rather than letting the water run. You can also use these sponges for cleaning. Ideally, use natural and eco-friendly products. We recommend dedicating one sponge per use (one for dishes, one for the bathroom, etc.).

For really encrusted dishes, we recommend using the dish brush.

Composition:

This sponge is made of:

• Soft terry cloth cotton certified GOTS and Eeko-Tex 100
• Abrasive polyester side.
• Recycled polyester padding (made from plastic bottles) certified GRS (Global Recycle Standard), inside the sponge to foam well and allow optimal drying, thereby limiting bacterial growth.

It's important to know that these sponges are filled with bacteria. Ideally, they should be changed every week. Imagine the cost and impact on the amount of waste. Moreover, they consume a lot of energy during manufacturing (chemical glue, large amounts of water, among others).

In addition to being eco-friendly, this washable sponge is also economical: about €61.40 for disposable sponges changed every week versus €8.95 with washable sponges.
