Xanthan gum is a 100% biodegradable natural gelling agent. Guaranteed GMO-free, it comes from the fermentation of vegetable sugars. This gelling agent makes it possible to produce gels for household products (gel of vinegar, citric acid, soda crystals, percarbonate, etc.).
By combining it with powders, you will obtain agel texture that will make cleaning easier and which allows it to stay in place, even on inclined surfaces. The gel does not run and dries much less quickly. As a result, you use much less product and you simplify cleaning.
Dose the xanthan gum between 0.3 and 2% depending on the desired viscosity, directly in vinegar or in an aqueous solution of citric acid, or percarbonate… Pour the xanthan gum slowly in rain while mixing to separate the particles well. Wait for complete rehydration (about 5min) and mix from time to time then finish with a whisk.
