A bit of culture:

White grapefruit is a natural cross between pomelo and sweet orange. Grapefruit trees can grow all over the world but it is in Florida in the United States that we find the most important quantity.

The essential oil, or EO, ​​of white grapefruit is cold-pressed from the outer part of the zest. Which, in truth, makes it more of an essence rather than an essential oil per se. For citrus fruits in general, it is not distillation that will be used but expression to obtain the essential oil.

Precautions for use:

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Do not use in children under 6 years old. HE prohibited in case of anticoagulant treatment or cortisone-dependent disease.

Grapefruit EO is pure dermocaustic. Always dilute it for cutaneous or oral application. Due to its high concentration of limonene, HE is allergenic. It is therefore preferable to test it before using it (1 to 2 drops in the bend of the elbow and wait 24 hours for there to be no reaction).

This EO is photosensitizing, so do not expose yourself to the sun for 8 to 10 hours after application.
