Orange blossom is a white flower that comes from the bitter orange tree. This tree is widely exploited. Indeed, the leaves and small branches will give the essential oil of Petit Grain Bigarade after distillation. As for the flowers, they will give the essential oil of Neroli and the hydrosol of orange blossom. The fruits will, them, give the essential oil of bitter orange by expression.

Orange blossom hydrosol is one of the best known hydrosols. Unlike the essential oil associated with it, it is much more flexible to use and it is also much cheaper. It can be used in aromatherapy, cosmetics but also in cooking.
