Organic Chia Seeds

Originally from Mexico, Chia seeds were highly appreciated by the Aztec and Maya peoples. They consumed them in order to restore energy to their bodies. By the way, the word chia means "strength" in ancient Mayan.

These are the edible seeds of Salvia hispanica. Although they are small in size, they are among the most nutritious foods. Indeed, they are rich in fiber and omega 3 and they are a source of protein. They are used to boost energy on a daily basis. These seeds are very popular with vegetarians and athletes.

Thanks to its texture, Chia seeds can replace eggs in vegan recipes.

Recommended daily consumption is 15 to 30gr per day.
